Using SafeguardingUK as an Owner

Section 1 — Intro
Hi, I'm Clive from SafeguardingUK.
You're the Owner of your organisation's account.
In about three minutes I'll show you what's on your side — and importantly, what isn't. Knowing this up front saves a lot of confusion later.
Section 2 — The deliberate boundary
Before we click anything, the important bit.
As the Owner, you do NOT see individual safeguarding concerns. That's deliberate. It's a feature, not a limitation.
Two reasons.
One — privacy. Your carers and service users shouldn't worry that the business owner reads every report. That would discourage honest reporting.
Two — overload. Your job is to run the business. Your managers' job is to handle the safeguarding work. So the platform splits the roles cleanly.
What you see: who has the Manager role, who's been added or removed from your team, anything that's been deleted, and your billing.
Let me show you each.
Section 3 — Your home screen
Here's your dashboard. Lighter than a manager's view, because there's less for you to do day-to-day.
Section 4 — Inviting a manager
Your job is to invite Managers — that's it.
Scroll to Your Team. Enter their email, click Send Invite. They get an email with a setup link.
If you ever need cover for a manager — say they're going on holiday — your manager arranges that themselves.
They can promote any of their team to Manager access from that person's staff profile, then switch it back when they return. You don't need to get involved.
Section 5 — Deleted Records
Scroll to Deleted Records. This is your audit view of anything your managers have deleted.
If a concern was logged in error — a duplicate, the wrong person, a test record — your manager can remove it from the live system. It doesn't disappear though. It lands here, so you can see it for audit purposes.
Only you can see this. Your managers and carers can't.
Section 6 — Subscription and Billing
Last thing. The Subscription and Billing card.
Your current plan, your next bill date, and how to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel.
Your card is on file with Stripe — never on our servers, only on theirs.
Section 7 — Close
That's the Owner view. Short on purpose. Your managers do the heavy lifting.
